Xinify Releases Self-Paced Training Series for IT Project Managers Using CA Clarity with Open Workbench and Microsoft Project
San Ramon, CA (PRWEB) August 7, 2008 -- Xinify has released two on-demand education packs that provide training for IT project managers using CA Clarity PPM with the scheduling tools, Open Workbench (OWB) and Microsoft Project (MSP). For a one-time investment, these Education Packs end the drought in training resources for Clarity users. The video contents can be uploaded and accessed from a company's education portal, allowing unlimited access for an unlimited number of users, 24x7. With the Education Packs, there is no need for a new investment to train new hires or re-train existing staff. Contents can be viewed easily, in a browser supported by any computer operating system. The simple format means integration with most internal corporate training interfaces is a breeze.
The education packs, one for OWB, the other for MSP, each includes one two-day class on basic concepts and processes. OWB includes four advanced training modules: dependencies, loading patterns, autoscheduling, monitoring and controlling, and master/sub projects. MSP includes one bonus module: refining schedules. Each class consists of a video presentation, a workbook, and accompanying exercise files; each training module provides exercises to assist students with self-evaluations.
Included with the DVDs are printed workbooks, which present the same material, for easy, follow-along reference. The manuals are also available as PDF files, so individual users can print copies for themselves.

These self-paced training courses can be used to earn PDUs toward a PMI credential.
